A typical guys (or lads) night out involves going to a pub or nightclub and drinking excessive amounts of alcohol (mainly beer/lager), shouting obsenities at members of the public, harassing members of the opposite sex and generally being obnoxious.

Most often an evening in which a group of men tell their females that they are going out to do one thing or another together as men. Most often an excuse to meet up at a bar and from there see who can get in the most trouble without actually getting into any shit.
