hmd is short for Alhamdulailah which is used to express gratitude to God in any given situation. If a muslim says hmd it means Alhamdulailah.

B: My day was good hmd :)
Is a short form for hamdulillah and this word are used by Muslims for explaining their mental health or when they are finish from eating food
