Part of Jersey that is VERY close to New York and seems more city-like than South Jersey. South Jersey residents love to hate on us North Jersey people because we are more advanced and don't depend on hoes and beers to have fun. Yes, i admit that South Jersey is a nice place to go for the summer, but what the fuck to they do when summer's over? It's a lame ass area once it gets a little breezy. They also seem to be a bit racist, considering that they crack on North Jersey people for their mix of races. Don't be jealous cuz we're more divorce. Most of South Jersey is occupied by ignorant whites who give latinos and african americans the only dirty looks when they visit. South Jersey=Lame. So what if north jersey has some rougher neighborhoods. It just shows that the residents there could adjust to different, harder environments. They don't have to stay in their little simple boring towns in South Jersey.
Megan: Oh My Gahhd! Im from South Jersey & i absolutely love it there !!!
Me: Lame -__-
*North Jersey is where i'm at ;D

The richer, classier side of New Jersey.
Hated by South Jersey because we use their shores then return home to our nicer, larger houses and better school systems.
Person 1: Where are you from?
Person 2: New Jersey

First off north jersey is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM SOUTH JERSEY. Most people in south jersey complain about how they hate north jersey and our nyc similarities and think we should be a separate state.. but hey, having south jersey and north jersey as separate states sounds just as great for us too.
A lot of people in north jersey have a North Jersey accents, not New York accents, because that dosn't make sense; we just have very simaler accents to the NYC accent.
We dont usually get too worked up about why south jersey hates that we love our vicinity to NYC and we root there teams, and they also call us wanna-be's but, im going to be the first one to say, what about there obsession with Philadelphia? is that any different of us liking NYC?
We have better food than south jersey, better shopping than south jersey, and we put sprinkles on our ice cream after we have hero.
because having hoagie and ice cream with jimmy's on them makes me sound like a Eagles fan! no one likes losing.
And we also have a very mixed diversity of cultures and races. And people call North Jersey all stuck up and rich.. WRONG, i love how south jersey act as if Newark, Irvington, Paterson, and Jersey City dont exist because those are one of the most populated cities in this state and are the cities that have the lowest incomes in the state.. but we're thankful for those cities. At least we have large urban areas so we dont have to depend everything on New York like you south jerseyians do with Philadelphia.
And we have a few New Jersey teams, and us North Jersey people root for them, but you south jersey peopl continue to worship the Phili flyers other then the NJ Devils. New Jersey is your state not Pennsylvania.
I mean the only thing worth while in south jersey is the shore. And if we piss you off so much being there, then move to Pennsylvania because NJ is a whole.
But North Jersey is better.
We talk with a simaler accent to NY
We love all our malls
We Root the few NJ teams we have
And we travel to south jersey only for the shore.
North Jersey; we have the biggest city in the county next door, why worry if we dont have Philadelphia nearby.

1. The part of New Jersey that is not south.
2. A place where, according to the rest of the US, people all have Tony Soprano accents (i.e., Joizey, Cawfee, Fuggeddaboutit, etc.)
3. The coolest place on earth, next to Switzerland.
4. The exact opposite of South Jersey, considering the only bodies of water aren't oceans, they're lakes or bays used for industrial purposes, and a place that draws far less tourists (thank God). Have you ever heard someone say "I'm goin' up to Newark for the summer"? I didn't think so.
Those North Jerseyans, all they care about is guns and pizza.

basically the families of people who work in new york. about 87 times better then south jersey.not everyone is a guido and there and there really arent that many. actually most people in north jersey hate guidos and the bad rep they give us. if you live in north jersey you most likely go to the city extreamly often and know it almost as well as any newyorker. and yes we talk normally however a slight jersey accent can slip out when angry.i have lived in north jersey my entire life and have never said joisey, i go to diners 24/7, really dislike the mall (sorry guys) and i greatly dislike guidos.
welcome to suberbia its pretty rad here
nobody in north jersey like a guido because who could ever take a boy who goes to tanning salons, plucks there eyebrows everyday, listens to techo and is constantly makeing kissy faces seriously

The worst part of NJ. Literally the slum of our precious east coast state. North jersey is overrun by factories, grime, new yorkians, and Yankees fans.
North jersey likes to say thereβre better than South Jersey, but we all know that is not true. North Jersey is home to the Vinnies, Paulβs, Mikes, and Brads.
Their shore (not beach you fucktard) is terrible compared to their southern brother. They call a Hoagie a sub, donβt have as many WaWas, and dare to watch the Jets during football season.
I once ran into a North Jerseyian named Vinnie while in Norway. He was so obnoxious and rude that i had to apologize to the Norwegian couple he was terrorizing.
Fuck North Jersey. Go Birds, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers
Person 1: do you smell that?
Person 2: yeah what the hell is that?
Person 1: oh, itβs just vinnie.
Person 2: who?
Person 1: that asshole guy from North Jersey
