Its real definition on almost every country is "cake", in Puerto Rico "pastel" is a typical dish, but, it also means a bad joke, like the worst joke in the world, but, still funny. Worst than a "Dad jokes".

Any preppy type or shorts or t-shirts worn by a lax bro. Originated on the east coast. A variety of colors are worn, hence the name, and it is a tradition to wear them every friday.
