Catcher in the rye is about a kid named Holden Cualfield going through life over a few days period.
It was banned by many high schools, and is probaly proclaimed the most banned book in the last century...
It's full of refernces to "Sex", lot's of swearing, and a few refernces to "Drugs", and full of "Alchohal"

An amzingly written book.
its overlooked by most people because its a "school book"
I dont like reading it in school beacause my teachers read way into all the meanings and symbolism and crap.
I loved "The Catcher in the Rye" when i read it on my own, but now that my teachers RUINED it for me, i kinda try to avoid it.

a marvelous and awesome classic 1951 novel written by j.d. salinger. however there are many vulgar expressions and sexual refrences.
recomended and voted as one of the best classic lit of the 20th century
