A slob of Irish decent who doesn't seem to care about the degree of filth that they live in and makes no effort to better their situation. Most likely poor, but not always. Pig Shit Irish is more of a frame of mind then a economic status.

Can also be used to describe the actions of an individual or group, who has just completed something of remarkable skill or achievement, and are worthy of comparison to Batmans skills.
Derived from the Robin ‘The Boy Wonders’ TV show catchphrase;
“Holy (insert object / person / event here) Batman!!”
Example 1:
