Reggie Bush

For people who think the blockers suck in New Orleans and it's all him, look at Deuce McCallister's stats before Bush.

And for the people who think he is a punt return beast, look at his return stats. 1 TD and 7.7 yards per return. Reno Mahe (who?) has more yards per return with 9.4.

most people don't know what they're talking about. Reggie Bush is overrated.

Reggie Bush

Just like Vick, he is another overhyped and overrated player in the NFL. People seem to overlook the fact that he is just another above average running back. He rushed for only 565 yards with a 3.6 average. Sure he is a rookie back, but there are many better that were picked after him. See: Laurence Maroney, Maurice Jones Drew.

He is a great receiver though, but he gets more hype than he deserves. A player 10 times his caliber is Brian Westbrook. Brian Westbrook had more than double of Bush's rushing yards (with 5.1 yards per rush)! Also, Westbrook's receiving stats are just about the same as Bush's. Westbrook also has more touchdowns. However, Westbrook does not get the hype he deserves.

People who think they know the NFL constantly kiss his butt. Proof from the commentators. When Bush runs back and forth and gets tackled for a loss (which happens much more than "home run plays"), the blockers are blamed. However, when he busts one for a big gain, which he rarely does, Bush gets all the credit.

People also overlook the fact that he is constantly tackled for a loss or no gain. However, when he makes one big play (just one!), spectators more than forgive him. Then, they start to claim him as one of the best backs in the league.

For the people who said Bush tore apart the Eagles in the playoffs, he only had 52 yards rushing and 22 yards receiving.

Just because he makes one electrifying play every 6-7 games does not make him one of the best backs in the NFL. Similar to Mike Vick, he is popular just because he is exciting to watch.

For people who think Reggie Bush is god, please rerun all the plays he did to benefit his team. I bet you it's the same 2-3 highlights over and over again. Just like ESPN and Sportscenter, those highlights are played over and over again and add to his hype.

People who think Mike Vick and Reggie Bush are the best two players in the NFL are people who do not know football.

Reggie Bush

#1 The greatest college player ever. Can turn into what looks like a 5 yard loss into a 20 yard gain, amazing field vision, crazy fast, amazing reciever, nobody executes a juke like him, amazing on special teams, can block like an offensive tackle, averaged 10 yards a carry at one point, breaks lots of tackles, can brake an 80 yard run just like that, the true meaning of the "All-Purpose back"

#2 The Future of the NFL

#1 Reggie Bush is like Ladainian Tomlinson, but LT didn't nearly have as good a college career as Reggie Bush

#2 USC is considered the best college team ever, Reggie Bush is the best player ever to attend USC, so what is stopping him from being the greatest NFL player ever?

Reggie Bush

To 'Reggie Bush' is to avoid something very quickly with an extremly agile and impressive move. The term 'Reggie Bush' must be used seldomly and only in the most amazing of situations.

Reggie Bush

-(v) The act of having spectacularly extricated ones self in any dangerous or potentially dangerous situation, whether verbal or physical, similar to that of the Saints running back, Reggie Bush. Varying nobility of actions that have taken place can be measured by season, placing the tense (optional) behind the season number, 2006 being the greatest thus far.

1. "There was a nursing convention in the hallway towards class. I reggie bushed the entire length of the hallway and got to class on time to take the quiz."

2. "I really think that if he realized that he doesn't need her (girl friend) and can do way better, he will greatly surpass me on the women-pulling-ometer. Straight up reggie bush 2006 my ass."
