SiR

Sir -- sound is irrelevant

An initialism used when you want to warn people that a video has sound or music is irrelevant to the video. Sounds that weren't initially part of the video would be labeled "SiR" because they have been added on for another effect or purpose.

I just realized that this was an SiR video, the sound effects were added afterward. These aren't the real sounds.

I hate seeing videos that should be labeled SiR because they have loud annoying music in the background that goes over the original dialogue and sounds.

Video title: cute puppies SiR

sirs

Stands for Service Industry Research Systems. Basically the worst job in the world. You can get hired there if you can say your alphabet, and pretty much everyone you know has worked there at some point in their life. It is rare that anyone lasts more than 2 weeks and those who do are clearly incredibly high and have no idea what's going on or how much their life sucks.

Got hired at sirs last week, find myself increasingly in need of a gun every minute spent at this place.
