While chatting in a Yahoo chatroom, right in the middle of a conversation Stoneman left without saying goodbye to anyone. Holly said, "I think Stoneman got spoused again."

Waffle Spouse

A wife who gladly lets you eat out her waffle any time you want. The meal is even better than Waffle House, although the restaurant waffles may thankfully have less blueberries, if you know what I'm sayin'.

Chris: Hey, wanna go to Waffle House for a quick bite to eat?
Krit: No dude, I already got the waffle spouse at home! Man, I am hungry!

Person who is heterosexual and married a gay, trans or bisexual person without knowledge of the LGBTQ status prior to the marriage.

She unknowingly became a straight spouse. He never told her his life long same sex attraction.

erstwhile spouse

Offbeat, gender-neutral way of referring to one's ex-wife or ex-husband.

I have a special ringtone in my cell phone that's only assigned to my ex-wife's phone numbers. So, when my cell phone makes that "oink-oink-oink" sound, I say "Oh, it must be my erstwhile spouse who's calling."

It is basically when you aren't allowed to go anywhere because of a controlling wife or husband. Spouse Arrest can hit at random times or, even worse, be quite frequent.

work spouse

A significant other you work with, whom you connect, share, and spend time with exclusively and intimately in the workplace. Both parties are mere aquaintances outside of the workplace and are completely unknown to each others true and respective domestic spouses.
