I was in the subway yesterday and some creepy homeless man stood at me for like 20 minutes! I didn't know what he wanted
It looked like he was coming up to the bar to get a drink, but I knew he was just coming to stand at me.

To wait while someone you know or even yourself looks for something they should already know where its at. To wait or be put on delay for a stupid reason.
