Anybody who still has a job and tells you that we're all in this together when you don't is full of shit. They're not with you and they dont give a fuck about you.
The reality is, many people are on their own, and they won't find many people that give a fuck in life. In what way is someone with a job in the media or the government in it together with someone looking for another job since everything got shut down?

Being together is being able to be "together" without the title of "boyfriend/girlfriend". It causes less talk at school if you have that problem. It means you are more than friends but you can still hookup with other people with out guilt (hopefully). But in the end it just causes broken hearts.

When sisters push their mattresses into one room and all sleep together. A togetherness can also consist of a large group of people in one bed.
On Christmas Eve I had a togetherness with my sisters.
After a night of binge drinking I had a togetherness with my friends.

Social togetherness is the opposite of social distancing. It's the new cultural movement which began in 2023. Since social distancing is the most fucked thing in history, we now need an equal amount of social togetherness to unfuck things.
Michelle: "I don't want to socially distance from you anymore"
Dany: "Social distancing is fucked"
Michelle: "Let's do some social togetherness, I'm coming over"
Dany: "Come over at 10pm for an unfucking session"
The act of vacationing with more than one family sharing the same accomodation, typically a vacation rental home instead of multiple hotel rooms.
When going to Disney, we decided that togethering was the most desireable way to vacation since we enjoy sharing a vacation rental home instead of booking separate hotel rooms.

Also used as its acronym kit, keep it together is a self motiviational phrase to use when things are getting chaotic and you are starting to freak. It is meant to be said repeatedly and very quickly, almost as one word.
"Keep it together, keepittogether, keepittogether...."
