A garden that is bigger than a garden , but smaller than a yard.
My yarden is getting to be too large to cope with. I need a smaller garden .

An area of land out the back of a terrace house, usually a slab of concrete. Is the only outdoor space you have, no grass so not a garden but can also be referred to as the yard, thus a combination of both.
P1: I need a piss but I can't be arsed going upstairs.
P2: Just go in the yarden.
P1: Where should I put this crap?
P2: Just chuck it in the garden.
If you need me I'll be in the yarden burning stuff.

A random combination of "gardening" and "yardwork". Sort of an A.D.D. approach to getting things done around the yard (or even just BEING in the yard).
