I'm learning to speak Cherokee, the original language spoken where I live, in accordance with Palin's Principle.
A pathetic attempt to elaborate on a faux pas by fabricating even more untruths rather than admitting to your blunder.

My teenager wouldn't get up this morning, insisting that there was no school, and when I referenced the school calendar, he pulled A Sarah Palin by explaining that in 2012 it'll be a Saturday, and technically there is no school, uh, in the future, on this day, and that the school bells didn't ring yesterday so he knew they were going on and jumping ahead to the 2012 calendar...ah, since there were not that many seniors this year anyway. In fact, he didn't need to go to school at all. Anymore. Because of no bells.
The Palin Principle states that the illusion of great achievement is created by lowering expectations.
"Man, I put so little effort into that English paper that I deserved to fail, but since I used the Palin Principle in the class, I got a C-!"

A few minutes into the interview I realized the applicant was pullin' a Palin, and didn't have any relevant experience whatsoever.

Usually results in said male being forced into a 'happy marriage' with the victim of Bristol-Palinism to save face, since so many politicians oppose abortion.
Generic male 1: "Dude I was totally boning President Obama's niece last week and now she rings telling me she's preggers."
Generic male 2: "Oh shiiiiiit you're screwed! Why the fuck did you go and Bristol Palin that bitch?"
