Pine Manor College

A predominantly black all-women's college in Chestnut Hill, MA which claims to be the most diverse college in the U.S.

It isn't really diverse....it's just the opposite of traditional!!!

It recruits from inner city or dare I say..."Ghetto" school systems, and is not known for polite, classy students.

Most of the schools students think it is okay to use "dis" and "dat" in college essays, as the words "this" and "that".

The colleges GPA is 2.1....need I say more?

St. Joseph's College

located over a 30-acre lakeside campus in Patchogue, Long Island, "The Teaching College" prepares undergrads to become "Future Teachers of America." "St. Joe's," as it is affectionately referred to by current students, offers students a great education at relatively low cost (70% of students recieve some form of financial aid/scholarship!)

St. Joe's is also known for its comprehensive business major and related concentrations, and offers a full range of other majors and programs besides teaching and business.

For the fifth year in a row, the 2007 ranking of America’s Best Colleges by U.S. News and World Report named St. Joseph's College to the top tier of the "Northern Comprehensive Colleges – Bachelor’s" category.

St. Joseph's has two campuses, one on Long Island (Suffolk County)and the other in Brooklyn. Even though the L.I. campus is mostly a commuter school, don't let that fool you.
Lasting friendships ensue due to a strong sense of community on campus: student government, campus activities board, dozens of clubs and greek life opprotunities await!
Oh--and most of the parties are pretty sick.

I've met so many awesome people while going to school at St. Joseph's College, if only they could fix that web registration!

college football playoff

A US college football playoff does not currently exist in the Football Bowl Subdivision, where polls and bowls determine the champion. These polls are heavily biased. A proper playoff would involve all 11 college football conference champions, and a 12th team to round out the field - either the next-best 2nd-place team or an Independent.

Four games are played in September, four games in October, four games in November.

At the end of the season, ALL college conferences will be obliged to stage a championship game between their top two teams to determine their conference champion, if the top two teams finish within one game of each other, or if they send the winners of their two divisions to a championship game anyway. (i.e. 11-1 and 10-2).

If there is a clear winner after the season is concluded (i.e. a 12-0 team, with the next-best team being 10-2), no championship game is required.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS (Week of Dec. 1-7)

ROUND ONE
7 of these 11 conference champions, plus the best 2nd-place team (or an Independent - whatever works) play at the sites of the 4 major bowls during the second week of December. (8th to 14th)
The four winning teams move on.
The schools can then break for exams and holidays.

ROUND TWO
The four major bowl games are the Orange, Sugar, Rose, and Fiesta Bowl. The winners from round 1 meet up with the four top-ranked conference champions in these bowl games.
Four teams move on in the playoff from here.

The TOP 4 conference champions get byes to round 2, which, coincidentally, will be the four major bowl games. The bowl games have historical significance in college football, and some college conferences have contractual tie-ins which give them huge sums of money.

This is the main reason that college presidents in these conferences are against a playoff. They don't want to give up the money that their schools earn through the bowls. This playoff system does not get rid of them.

ROUND THREE
In round 3, 2 of the sites of those bowl games host the semi-final games.
The following season, the other two sites host the semi-finals.

ROUND 4
The FBS championship will also rotate between the 4 bowls, as it does now.

So there you have it. No bowls get eliminated, which makes the college presidents happy.
The teams that get knocked out of the playoff can also go on to play in other bowls if they so wish.

A college football playoff would allow the US college football champion to be determined on the field, instead of by arbitrary polls.

Sarah Lawrence College

Where kids are grinding hazelnuts at 2 a.m. You never call your teacher "professor." Where the weird kids in high school are considered normal and the normal kids are considered weird. You will walk in on your roommate having gay sex at any given point in the day... or night. The whole experience is devised as fuck.

Lesbian 1: Yo dude who are you writing about for your conference project in Underwater Basket-Weaving Through the Lens of Feminist Intersectionality in 1800's France?
Lesbian 2: Borg....
The one straight person on campus: These Sarah Lawrence College kids are fucking weird

Monterey Polytechnic College

Monterey Polytechnic College is one of the best colleges in the states. Founded in 1557 BC (the actual oldest college), the institution provides a world-class education in the vibrant city of Monterey, CA. Its STEM program is among the most prestigious -- on par with MIT, Caltech, etc. Nevertheless, the school remains largely unknown to the world, with its faculty and students operating the most extensive underground network for boba-high mermaids and boba dealers that has ever existed.

Monterey Polytechnic College is Joanna's dream school.

Anna studies computational neuroscience at Monterey Polytechnic College.

After graduating from Monterey Polytechnic College, Jack founded a boba empire in Antarctica.

Paul Smith’s College

A college like no other in the heart of the Adirondacks. A very beautiful campus on which almost everyone smokes marijuana and gets drunk on a Friday night.

I’m going off to Paul Smith’s College (pot smoker’s college) for four years.
