Love is pain. You will go through so much pain to find love, for example, yourself. You will go through a pain that hurts so bad before you love yourself, and its okay, sometimes it hurts so bad that you take it out on your body to relieve it or maybe take it out on others but we all go through something like this because self love is so hard to find. Another example is another person, you find you've got a crush on someone and they put you through so much pain, giving you mixed signals, maybe dating someone while you have an attraction towards them and it will hurt you so bad inside but in the end, if its true love the pain was worth it.
girl : I like him so much, its killing me
girl 2 : no girl, if he's putting you through this much pain and you still choose to like him its LOVE
girl : if this is what love feels like, love is pain and i hate it.

Love: noun ¹,²--
¹ Basically a state of mind where you feel like you could die right then and feel complete simply knowing that they're yours. It's a trust that extends beyond a secret, because you're not giving them a secret, not even just your life, but your love which is so much more because it is so entirely a part of you that you want them to keep it forever. And you're trusting them to do the same. Love is passion. Wonderful, mind fogging passion that leaves you breathless and starving for it to keep going as long as you live. The shallow words that teenagers throw at eachother are an abuse of the meaning that "I love you" envokes.
² Love is torture. It's like someone ripped a part of you out, because they're holding it hostage. It's giving them the power to make you or break you so entirely that it drives you mad. Love makes you weak at the knees and brings tears to your eyes, leaving you more vulnerable and naked (metaphorically) than any other emotion, and a simple word can knock you clear off your feet. Love gives you feelings inside that gnaw more and more when they're not with you, and you find yourself craving the taste of them, the sound of their voice, the comfort of their smile, of their arms, until it's not even a craving anymore, but a need, a deep, insatable need that you can't block out no matter how much you want to. It basically puts strings to your joints and names you a puppet. And try as you might, you can't find a single reason to object. Love is passion, the kind that makes you pull your hair and scream out loud.

1.) A very profound word usually used as a feeling towards someone. When you love a person you can't stop thinking about them. You want to give all of yourself and receive all of that person. You want them for yourself.

love. ppl throw it around like it means nothing. you don’t decide you love someone after three days of dating. you can’t love someone you have never met before or have only talked to through a screen. love is more than liking someone and them liking you back. if you love someone that means you would go through hell and back for that person. you would give your life away for them and be happy because you are infatuated with them. but love isn’t one way. that other person must want to do that for you, or else it is not love. love isn’t wanting to fuck someone and that’s it. that is lust. love is wanting to be in any kind of contact with someone and being happy about it. so plz, grow up and get your head straight before the next time you tell someone you love them, when you deeply do not.
