A group of people who hang-out outside of gas stations after dark, usually at a Chevron. Chev rats sit outside on the curb of gas stations for hours at a time, not many people truly know what they are doing there.
For an example of real life chev rats, drive to your nearest Chevron, or other gas station, after dark.
Someone who identifys as a furry.
Tammy: "connor your a rat dude!"
Connor:"I AM A RAT DUDE!"
When you want a conversation to be done and over with, but people won't stop so you declare fat rat. This is used to distract from an otherwise difficult or annoying conversation topic.
Whenever someone gets deep into politics at work, Benjamin always declares "Fat Rat" and the conversation is over.
Used when one is a bridesmaid at ones wedding it is used as a nickname for the most popular girl.
