Etymology: Trill comes from the word Vril. Vril first appeared in a novel by Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1871. Vril belongs to a language spoken by ancient ancestors of the Red race whom now live below the Earth's crust and is synonymous with the Greek word æther, describing the sub-atomic substance from which all other atoms are created.
