After consumption of a Chiptole burrito one feels a gut busting effect which lasts anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes and disables ones ability to perform simple motor skills.
OR
When you eat a Chipotle burrito way too fast and feel sick afterwards. You feel like you're about to throw up but its so worth it cause that burrito and/or bowl was so delicious.
Wanna go to the gym?

The Oasis Effect describes the phenomena in modern music where popular music has plummeted in quality so much, that acts that were only mediocre in the past, are comparatively superb.
"I just got excited to find Wonderwall on a radio station. What the fuck is going on!?"
"Oh, that's just the Oasis Effect you're experiencing. Everything else is so bad, Wonderwall is good. We live in frightening times."

The phenomenon that occurs when Kanye West intrudes upon a celebrity, causing the proceeding celebrity to reglorify the former.
2009 VMA's - Kanye West took the mic from Taylor Swift, and said “Taylor, I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!" and then left the stage. Beyonce then called Taylor Swift back up to the stage to let her have her moment. Taylor Swift was a victim of The Kanye Effect.

1. The theory that everything that happens must happen; that you can't save one thing without destroying something else. Coming from the idea of a butterfly caught in a spider's web. You can't save the butterfly without killing the spider (through violence or starvation).
(Also personified in the more popular saying, "Live and Let Die")

Stopping the bombing of Hiroshima would most likely have the butterfly effect that would have costed a multitude more lives.
