Somebody that is overly obsessed with guitar hero. They also think that scoring big point on TTFATF (Through the fire and the flames) will actually make them cool and get them somewhere in life.

Leg Guitar

Whilst a person is reasonably intoxicated they may lift either their left or right leg using the opposite arm. Keeping it straight, they then strum their leg like they would when strumming a guitar.

This can be used in situations such as:
- a pulling mechanism to impress a certain someone
- being too intoxicated to know the difference between a real guitar and your own leg
- and finally thinking it is cool and thinking everyone will also join in with 'leg guitars'

guitar riffs

A riff is a cluster or sequence of notes or chords. A riff is used in a song. It can be repeated over and over again, but it may only be heard once, say for instance, in a lead guitar solo. Riffs can be minor decorative elements or they can be the basis of a song. Riffs are sometimes very memorable - they can be the most immediately recognizable thing about a song. Guitar riffs are obviously very nifty, on the other hand, guitar rifts do not exists. A rift is literally a division, split or break. Broken guitars are very hard to play and they don't sound so good.

Classic guitar riffs include the opening chord sequence in I Can't Get No Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones, or Long Train Running by the Doobie Brothers.

Guitars in the Basement

A term originated in 2008 meaning a repetitive nostalgia of unrealized dreams to the point that it seems a little sad.

That guy talks about that final touchdown from 1998 all the time. He has guitars in his basement.

He's not a rockstar. He works at Kinkos. He definitely has some guitars in the basement!

2nd guitar

2nd guitar; 2nd; in a five piece band there is usually a 'lead guitar' and a 'rhythm guitar'. in some bands the rhythm guitar player is so good he plays many leads or harmonies, he is the '2nd guitar' because he does not simply provide chords for the lead.

protest the hero fan 1: Luke is definitely the lead and Tim is the rhythm.
PTH fan 2: no way dude Tim is good enough to be a lead himself, he's more of a '2nd guitar' player
