Old College Try

attempting to get one last hit of marijuana out of a smoking device (i.e. bong, bowl, etc)

"I think there may be one more hit"
"Then, I'll give it the old college try"

Hostos Community College

The most fucked up community college in New York City. The majority of students are wanna be black Hispanics and a bunch of black folks fresh off the boat from Africa. There's a big rumor that the majority of students in Hostos have AIDS due to the fact that they all sleep with each other. There's only a handful of whites and Asians in the campus and they all probably suffer from culture shock. If you plan on applying to a community college never apply to Hostos unless you want to waste 3-4 years of your life in a crappy Associate's degree that you could get in 2 years some where else where you could actually be taught by real professors and have a healthy student environment.

Ike: I freaking hate my life dude!
Mike: What happened?
Ike: Do you remember that community college I applied to?
Mike: Hostos Community College?
Ike: Yeah.....
Ike: that place is full blacks and Hispanics with only few white students.
Mike: is there any hot white girls?
Ike: No man!
Mike: damn dude you messed up!

college bar

A bar that is procured typically by College students. They will usually sell a variety of craft beers, that snotty college kids will drink to feel superior after not being invited to frat keggers.

Barry did not believe college bars existed, because he never went to college, unlike his mother.

Hunter College (CUNY)

Continuation of New York City's failing public high schools. The people who say this school is equivalent to Columbia but fifty thousand dollars cheaper are just lying to themselves to feel better about going to a crappy school. CUNY schools had open admissions from 1969-1999 at all its senior colleges, so CUNY degrees for the most part are just trash.

CUNY Student: I goto Hunter College (CUNY), it's like Harvard and Columbia but very cheap, I only pay $3 to attend a year.
Person: You're not a genius, and CUNY schools are shit, stop comparing CUNY to Ivy Leagues

The College of New Jersey

Here at this school, you can't even say there is a fine line between the overachievers who are getting an "excellent" education.. and the all- star athlete from one of the neighboring counties. Atheltes stick together and sororities/ & fraternites sitck together. There is never any mixing. The athletes dont like greek life because there smart enough to pass classes w/o being a phys ed major and greek life hate athletes because they have NCAA championships to put on their resumes not just GPAs.

" omg i love my BIg big, and lilil and all the friends i pay for"-- typical sorority chick at the college of new jersey

McDowell Early College

An amazing opportunity in McDowell County, offered to students going into high school. You attend McDowell Early College and in 5 years (or 4, if you work really hard), you get a Associates Degree in college and a High School diploma. Beware, this is for extremely driven students only. The teachers will help you, if you help yourself. You must apply to get in, but it will be worth it.

"Man, I can't believe I dropped out of McDowell Early College. Worst decision ever."

"My best friend goes to McDowell Early College. She is brilliant."

"I met my future husband at McDowell Early college."

"McDowell Early College did the best they could for me. Too bad I sucked and wasn't responsible."

"I love and miss McDowell Early College."
