Slave owners figured out that they can exploit human beings more profitably by tricking them and enslaving them covertly. The trick works like this. Employers post a help wanted ad, interview candidates and hire the ones they see will be more productive. They pay each employee a salary. That is what salaries are for, and that's why some 'Help Wanted' ads should really be called 'Slave Wanted' ads, some employees a 'salaried slave,' and some employers 'slave masters.'
