Cop Camera Theater

The unctuous behaviors of abusive police officers who are aware they're being recorded, in an effort to deliberately create the illusion of justification for their otherwise unjustifiable actions.

They often are convinced that they will get the lead roll, but are often in the Ensemble or not in the show at all. They also tend to TOUCH PROPS THAT AREN'T THIER'S

Allyship Theater

(noun)
A performative display of social justice allyship, intended more to signal moral virtue and gain approval than to bring about real change. Often used by individuals or organizations to showcase their “wokeness” while avoiding substantive action. Think hashtags, statements, boycotts, or outrage — all for show.

Origin: A fusion of allyship (support for marginalized groups) and political theater (symbolic actions with little real effect), typically used sarcastically to critique shallow activism in corporate, tech, or media circles.

When the studio replaced their logo with a rainbow for Pride Month but kept exploiting their workers, it was just more allyship theater.
