A universal term used by sportfisherman to dignify: organization, cleanliness, good actions, opportunities successfully executed, etc. on the high seas.

work from home hussy

A woman who spends her days talking to men online.

Not to be confused with a work from home honey.

Person 1: What does she do all day?
Person 2: She would never say it, but I think she is a work from home hussy.
Person 1: Oh, that explains it.

work syndrome

When your body begins to shut down right before your shift, you begin to feel really sick. (Often caused by stress from work)

Today isn't such a great day, I haven't been feeling good due to work syndrome.

work drugs

Any controlled substance used while at work. Calling them “work drugs” is just an attempt to make it seem like doing drugs at work is a normal thing to be doing.

You seem a little high strung today Bill, did you get into the work drugs again?

Andy often used work drugs on days that he was hung over. . . doctors orders, don’t worry about it.

Have it all worked out

To gain significant advantage or make one's way through the world by exploiting social dynamics, state institutions and weaponising the law (usually to the detriment of moral but naive others).

Working temperature

The temperature at which, whether-you-like-it-or-not, you must go to work tomorrow.

Working temperature varies from subfreezing to high 100°F (over 40°C), but no matter what the working temperature is - you've got to go to work.

Work walk

When you look like you’re busy and nobody wants to get in your way. In other words you walk with a purpose. This type of walk is considered a lot more respectable than a club walk.
