Faith is the belief in something despite not having proof, or having proof to the contrary of the fact in which you believe. Faith relies not on facts, but on trust in that which you believe to ultimately justify the belief you gave to it. Faith is not only something to be found in religion. For example, a relationship takes faith, on both ends; if one is unfaithful, the relationship is meaningless to them, and therefore, the relationship as a whole means nothing, if one does not have faith in their partner, the relationship is also pointless. The truth is, faith terrifies us. It requires absolute trust, and more than that, trust in something other than ourselves. Deep down, we are all afraid of being made to look like fools, and faith takes the risk even higher, because with true faith, we have no problem sharing our faith with others, whether it be in God, Buddha, Mohammed, or Scientology.

Confident belief in the truth (scientific methold), value (scientific fact) or trustworthiness of a person (Scientist), idea (Hypothesis), or thing (Studies/Scientist/Scientific Method/Hypothesis).
I'm such a tard I think this is the definition of faith.

Belief without evidence. Instead of evidence, someone who has faith in something might profess a strong personal conviction, private revelation, a particular upbringing, a feeling, or a personal anecdote.
I have faith that my cat, which has been missing for two years, is still alive and has found a new, comfortable home.

Adj. People who are too stupid to open their eyes a witness that in order to have a logical end, there needs to be a logical start.These People have faith that they know everythinhg and that the answer they "believe" is the right one.
Throw some dynamite into the forrest and have faith that life will eventually occor. That takes a lot of faith.

Faith is beautiful and always try's to make others laugh. Her eyes twinkle every where she goes and her smile is loved by everyone. Typically Faith will have brown wavy hair and freckles. In her young years she hated her freckles. But in her teen years she will mature and learn that she is beautiful. Faiths tend to have a habit of stealing but has a heart of gold. The worlds problems do tend to aggravate and scare her so she may tend to live in her own world. Faith very easily becomes jealous but is envied by many.
