A combination of the two words "man" and "explaining" which have been combined and fused in order to make it easier to say often and be easily identifiable.
It is used when a subject often the one question in conversation and following topic at hand is explained in unrequested and unrequired detail. This has been dubbed "Mansplaining" due to women finding it annoying and perceiving it as men looking down on the m without noticing that men just talk to them like they talk to men.
It is also a bit of a an everything word as the definition is very biased as men feel as they did just give helpful advice while women feel looked down upon. This means that you may if you wish utilise this word however you may please and bend the definition to agree with your argument or view.

When a man has to explain something to a woman because she is too dumb to understand it refuses to understand something
I was literally forced into mansplaining to Terri about some conflicting information because she never reads my emails.
1. Whenever a man tells a "woman" the truth about something she disagrees with or thought differently about.
2. When a "woman" believes that an opinion is an objective fact, she will use this.
*Woman is in "" due to the fact that what a woman actually is, is being disputed by "women".
"He tried mansplaining to me what a woman is."
"His wife tried mansplaining to me that I'm not a real woman and shouldn't tell her how to act."
The simplifying or for women reading this "dumbing down" of an already simple logical premise/point/definition or task in an attempt to get a woman to understand it.
Jenny was angry that Henry was mansplaining how to read the map. She told him it was his fault she got lost afterwards because his explanation confused her. Without it, she would have been fine she claimed (despite his mansplaining was delivered in response to her asking"How do I use this map?)
When a man tries to over explain topics to (mostly) women who most of the time know better than him.
"Wo does this guy think he is?"
"Oh don't mind Frank, he's just mansplaining again..."
