1. Usually upper-middle class suburban kids that have no clue how people outside their society operate. Usually humorless, except when it comes to their own retarded humor. Many of their parents are in the same cliques and well-off, so they are set up for life. Usually are hard to break into unless you are white and rich or rich and conformist. In effect, preps in America are virtually the dawn of this nation's nobility. Usually camouflage themselves in trucker hats, jackets, striped shirts, lots of pink, Abercrombie, Seven jeans, Vuitton and those metal spiked belts. Warning: Intelligence lacking.

1. The prep looked at my golf shirt on dress day and said "you wore that last month."
2. I wore my brand-new golf shirt to the party, and the preps praised me. I wore it next month again and the preps called me a bum.
3. The no-getter is desperate to get preps to like him, so indebts himself to credit card companies to buy expensive shoes and $400 jackets.

one who appears clean-cut or strive to seem slightly better off financially than others. preps would most likely wear American Eagle,Abercrombie and Fitch,Hollister, OldNavy and polos sometimes with the collar up. they listen to what ever the newest shit u see on trl/bullshit they play on the radio(some of it is good).preps usally watch the OC, one tree hill, american idol,Laguna Beach,the hills,E! . not all preps go to a prep school or broading school. Most preps think they are are the coolest people. they r always doing the lastest trends. preps mostly think whatever they do is the coolest thing ever
