Keith Moon

The most (literally) insane and crazy drummer the world has ever known. Pretty much the first legit Punk Rocker. Infamous for eating goldfish, exploding drum sets, and throwing Televisions out of hotel windows. Oh, and revolutionizing drums in rock n' roll. Known to be an inspiration of John Bonham, who also kicks ass.

The Who still kick ass - but not NEARLY as much without Keith Moon's presence on stage!

Sailor Moon

Pronuced- Sera Muun
One of the most well known anime series to most americans. A shoujo 'magical girl type anime' for younger girls. A manga written by Naoko Takeuchi. Known nefariously for its bad dubbing. Excluding that was a series that had more darker subtones and messages beyond the 'monster of the week setup'(such as jelousy, science, homesexuality and sexuality in general, death, dreams, and duty for ex.) and the plot the further along had a pacifist message along the series as Usagi fought only when she had to, but sacrifing herself when need be w/o fighting (Basing this on the subbed version). That and girls ranging in various personality traits in short skirts with magical powers based on astrological symbolism. Spwaned many merchandise, doujinshi, and manga.

The Sailor Moon series must've set Naoko Takeuchi finacially for life.

A Rocket to the Moon

A Rocket to the Moon (or ARTTM) started as an electro-acoustic solo project by Nick Santino in Braintree, Massachusetts. He released 2 EPs. Then ARTTM was signed to Fueled By Ramen in 2008, and released the "Greetings From..." EP, which has a more pop-rock/pop-punk feel and includes a full band. Nick used friends to make a full band for tours, but in the spring of 2009, Justin Richards (also in Brighten) and Eric Halvorsen were named the official guitarist and bassist, respectively. The band's biggest tour would be the 2009 AP Tour. They recorded their full length in winter 2009.

Friend A- "Hey did you catch the A Rocket to the Moon show last night?"
Friend B- "I sure did! They were amazing and when I met them they were so nice!"

man on the moon

Neil Armstrong stepped onto the Moon's surface, in the Sea of Tranquility, at 0256 GMT, on 21 July 1969.

We can put a man on the moon, but can we put one on (here insert the name of the person you want to make fun of)?

moon on a stick

phrase used widely by teenagers and young adults in the mid 90s as it was made popular by the comedy geniuses Stew Lee & Richard Herring.
they used it mostly in the second series of their hit tv & radio show 'Fist of Fun'.
It means basically to want everything, if you want the moon on a stick then you want everything, including things you can't have.

Rich: you wanted the moon on a stick...well look! i went up and got it for you!

Stew: but i don't want it!
