Any of those ultrannoying scenes in the series "Heroes", where the Cheerleader starts whining about whatever to her dad, and her psychodad says (preferably after some cold blooded killing) ""you're daddy's little clairebear, all i want is for you to be safe, and live a normal life yadiyadi i love you so much yadiyadi. .
And then the Cheerleader starts pouting about being different and special and save the yadiyadi
and so we have a beautiful freudian geysir of fraternal and territorial superamericanized issues squatting all over something that could be a really really good television series.
Claire: I hate you dad, and you're not even my dad !
Mr. Bennet: All that matters to me is that you're safe.
Claire: I don't wanna be safe, I am different, I'm special !
Mr. Bennet: You're staying here, and you're gonna live a normal life, and you're always gonna be my little clairebear, ok ?
Claire: Ok, dad, I love you.

This is where an expatriot from a first world country becomes so accustomed to the benefits of living in a developing country that they have expectations or express opinions that would totally unreasonable back at home.
eg. I am used to all of my dirty clothes magically disappearing from the floor in my bathroom and reappearing in my cupboard clean and ironed (and I pay very little for this service). But one day I go to wear my favourite shirt and discover it is still in the laundry. Instead of walking to the laundry to get it with my own two legs, I get huffy and annoyed that my maid hasn't brought it to my cupboard. (The expat moment !) This feeling lasts for a moment (hopefully) until I realise that I am spoiled and ridiculous and can get my shirt myself.

The phrase 'Having a moment' should be used whenever a conversation between yourself and someone else is interrupted, either verbally or through the unwanted presence of someone.
Does not necessarily mean the you are actually having a moment.
Boy and Girl are having a discussion about motorized seesaws at a party, Random Guy appears near them, attempting to interject the conversation.
Girl: "Uh sorry, we're having a moment right now"
Boy: *nods*
Random Guy: "Oh, uh, sorry" Exeunt

When someone, typically a chick, is upset about something small therefore causing the chick to freak out and act like a child over something small and of no consequence. The freak out episode normally lasts only for a few minutes - thus a BiPolar Moment
We were all at the house playing charades having a fun time. It was Lisa's turn to act out a phrase and again she couldn't seem to get anyone on her team to guess the phrase, time expired and Lisa stood up threw her full glass of wine on the wall. We all felt bad for her boyfriend Marshall, who just sat there shaking his head apologizing for her tantrum, he was trying to blame it on the alcohol, but we all knew the truth. This crazy chick was having a BiPolar Moment.

"I had a Polish Moment as I attempted to recall what that little boot-shaped country was called."

a moment in which one acts like a complete jackass, dummy and just all around idiot.
stems from the kanye west/taylor swift incident at the 2009 mtv vma awards show.
Today I stepped in a pile of dog poop, and didn't notice till I got it all over my new wooden floors. It was such a Kanye moment.
Dude, I accidentally punched a girl in the face! It was a TOTAL Kanye moment.
