The process by which wearing a Tapout, Redemption, or other MMA fighting shirt instantly makes the wearer hold his body and walk in a way as to look much more buff and a like an experienced fighter.
As soon as I saw him come out of the changing room wearing that TAPOUT shirt, he had his chest poked out, his arms held up higher, and was walking like he was about to knock somebody out. That's what I like to call 'The Tapout Effect'.

The dominance and influence assumed by a sole male in the presence of a group of multiple females. Females become dependent and the "pimp" can easily bend their will, as a group, becoming the group leader. Subsequently, the "pimp" himself begins playing a more active role in group decisions. This effect is exaggerated when females are in unfamiliar territory. Signs include, but are not limited to, frequent finger snaps by the "pimp", the group taking a "v" formation with pimp acting as head goose, and improvement of "pimp's" posture, with head held high and chest out exemplifying his dominance.
Despite Tom's usual timid behavior, he walked through streets confidently with Jessica, Brooke, Maria, and Shaniqua. His change in behavior was due to the pimp effect.

When a large crowd wants something so badly their primal instincts take over and they reach out there arms, push, and shove to retrieve said item.
Man, Comic-Con was crazy, those stupid collectible bags caused a zombie effect of nerds!

Praising someone by giving them fame and/or money for a stupid reason, much like how the Kardashians got fame, titty twitch streamers are a good example of the Kardashian effect

A person who carries an assholish aura and memorable recollection. You feel you know this person in an assholish way and can’t recall the situation. However, everyone else seems to like them and it makes you infuriated.
This guy is giving me the nadeau effect, why do people like him?

The overpowering effect of someone using the word "like" a lot, thereby causing their hotness to degrade.
So this really got woman walks into this store right.....but then she starts talking to the manager and crap.......the like effect takes hold and that was that.
