Sometimes referred to as vipster, neo /v/ipster, and /v/ hipster is a derogatory term used on the 4chan /v/ board to insult some of the boards users.
The term is meant to imply said user is a hipster about video games. Common views attributed about /v/ipsters include:
Hating/Liking a game because its popular/not popular.
Hating a game because its more gameplay focused.
Liking a game because its more story focused.
Hating/Liking a game because its Newer/Older.
Hating/Liking a franchise because its more popular/less popular than another franchise perceived as an enemy/competitor of said franchise.
"I was on /v/ the other day arguing with some /v/ipsters who thought Fallout 4 was the worst game of all time."
A curencey in Fortnite called Vendor-Bucks but only virgins are the ones to buy it giving its nickname Virgin-Bucks. This curencey will lead you to lose your money.
