Any drastic or unusually positive increase in average Joe Schmo blog site traffic as a direct result of a Chris Brogan retweet and/or other digital endorsement via social channels on the crazy interwebs.
When Chris Brogan posts what is below on Twitter, for example, the result is usually what is referred to as The Brogan Effect:

The Candlebox effect is when an individual or group, usually in a theater or sports setting, gets up and starts dancing for no apparent reason. This phenomenon was witnessed during the alternative rock group, Candlebox, show at Celebrity Theater in Phoenix in 2014 , in which a lady was reported to have stood up and danced in her seat during the entire acoustic concert much to the dismay and amusement of other concert goers.
"Wow I never seen her be so crazy, total Candlebox effect at work"
"That Candlebox effect seems to be infectious in here"
"I will so have the Candlebox effect tonight at the Guns n' Roses concert tonight, They rule!"

After a few minutes of looking at (whatever) the library effect kicked in sending Steve to the bathroom.

When a person, action, or phrase is so far to one extreme that it becomes another extreme. Named after the character Gandhi from the first Civilization game. Gandhi would start with the lowest possible peace stat, and upon adoption of democracy, his peace stat would be lowered by 2. Due to his peace stat going below zero a bug would occur where it would loop around to 255, the highest in the game.
The flat earth theory is so stupid that it is actually smart due to the Gandhi Effect.

A phenomenon where you end up being into someone so ugly you would not otherwise simp for, because of the sole fact that they do not like you. If they had been into you, you'd say "ew gross."

A disease that affects males with well defined abdominal muscles into loving females with relatively (*relatively*) less defined abdominal muscles through the manner of inflating their ego that they love so much( FACT; men love themselves) that in turn they love said females.
My friend said i love you to a girl he never met .. I blame the isha effect.
