Missing an iconic event because you couldn't be bothered or just didn't know how important it would be. after the scene in the film where Charlton Heston meets people going to the sermon on the mount but doesn't go with them.
My friends asked me if I wanted to go see Nirvana years ago before they were famous but I didn't go - what a Ben Hur Moment!

Feeling of elation when you realise you and one other person have resisted a virulent cultural meme that has infected the rest of the local population.
Etymology: the 1979 television adaptation of Salem’s Lot concludes with two characters, Ben Mears and Mark Petrie, hiding in a church from the other town inhabitants, all of whom have been transformed into vampires. Despite the danger of their predicament there’s a sense of elation that they have resisted the vampire infection.
Example of Salem's Lot moment: having met the one other person at a party who refuses to dance to commercial R'n'B, you both hide out in the garden. Should you fail to find another such person, you may find yourself overwhelmed by the infection, dancing along to Beyonce, now one of the damned.

One of those moments when someone tells you something saddening, but not serious enough for an "I'm sorry" but not light hearted enough that you can ignore it without being an ass.
So you simple reply, "Boo Hoo Moment".
The friend then acknowledges this, and you proceed to move on with the conversation.
Friend: "Oh no! I spilt my drink all over my homework!"
You: ... "Boo Hoo Moment".
Friend: "Indeed".

An ah ha moment is when someone does something that reveals there true personality or when you realize that something isn't right about a person.
I had an ah ha moment when Jason told me there wasn't room in the car. I had heard later that he brought someone else instead of me.
