Once upon a time, in New York City in 1941... at this club open to all comers to play, night after night, at a club named "Minston's Play House" in Harlem, they play jazz sessions competing with each other. Young jazz men with a new sense are gathering. At last they created a new genre itself. They are sick and tired of the conventional fixed style jazz. They're eager to play jazz more freely as they wish then... in 2071 in the universe... The bounty hunters, who are gathering in the spaceship "BEBOP", will play freely without fear of risky things. They must create new dreams and films by breaking traditional styles. The work, which becomes a new genre itself, will be called... COWBOY BEBOP
Cowboy Bebop is a good show.

(N.)1. an adult Anime from 1998, that can presently be seen on either DVD or Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" if you get really high one night and stay up long enough to catch it.

A pretty good anime series that was mutilated by Cartoon Network, even though they were nice enough to not cut out the blood, gore, death scenes, dead prople, and most of the profanity. Unfortunately for those of us who want something new, Cartoon Stagnate even makes sure we never miss a single episode of Bebop by repeating it over and over and OVER AND OVER AND FUCKING OVER AGAIN!!! AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!
Soon I will have my cable company permanently block Cartoon Network from my TV listing thanks to repeats of Bebop and other poorly-translated, censored anime shows.

An anime which revolves around the inevitable death of its co-main character spike spiegel .
Though really it is a very cool anime that is definitely worth your time.
It also has credit of being one of the first amines to penetrate the western market.
