Newbie's known to be called as noob or newb. Just like braggers or gold diggers they will say that noob means dumb and stupid. but in another way.. Newbies are new players who are like stupid people but are new to the game. they'll sometime need to check how to play or check the rules.
1 : "That maybe a newbie.. I'll tell him how to play."
2 : "It's been a month and I'm a newbie at this game now.."
3 : "Your such a newbie! Don't you now how to play???"

A gay person who has recently come out and is not yet accustomed to the gay community. He or she is generally very socially awkward because of grappling with a completely new identity and a new set of societal expectations.

An alternative to the Internet term 'newbie' or 'noob' or variations thereof; it essentially has the same meaning but is generally a much cooler way to say it. Not used widely, but very pro.
