Trent Reznor

Infamed sole NIN member, who once came under fire in 1994 when a parent found a copy of his 1992 violent short snuff-esque film Broken (based upon the EP of the same name, features a man being castrated and dismembered, amongst other violent moments) in her daughter's VCR and immediately called the police.

1992's Broken EP is scientifically proven to be THE shit.

Trent Reznor

Trent Reznor, (AKA GOD, TRez, Tank Reznor, or Zombie Trent Reznor), is awesome.

In the beginning stages of his awesomeness, he created Nine Inch Nails and made Marilyn Manson (AKA Brian Warner, The Antichrist) famous.

Seven studio albums and one really awesome EP later, Trent is worshipped by awesome people the world over. While NIN has "dissapeared for a while" and is no longer touring, Trent's fans still love him and look forward to any musical projects he may release in the future. Because we all know that where Trent goes, AWESOMENESS ENSUES!

Trent Reznor

I don't get this entirely... Just, Reznor is a deep person. He has insightful lyrics, that have saved my life more than once. I hate the mall goths who say they like Nine Inch Nails... it's a one-man band! He does everything, and takes a band with him when he tours. He helps out struggling artists with NOTHING records. He gave us Manson, which... sometimes I regret.

But, my words are meaningless. This man is a saint. I love him dearly... and the only thing we share is the same home start. I haven't moved up to stalker level, though

Trent Reznor

A musical pioneer and visionary, and likely the most technologically innovative artist to date.

As leader (singer/songwriter) of Nine Inch Nails, Reznor not only garnered success early in his career, but managed to stay ahead of the curve as decades passed. Where others in the past have neither understood nor embraced technology (i.e. Metallica's Lars Ulrich suing Napster in 2000), Reznor uses it to his advantage at any ample opportunity.

Today, he writes, records, produces and markets his music on his terms. This process always involves a computer, the Internet or both.

His music has always and continues to shine light on the ugly aspects of human existence. Common themes are broken love, betrayal, lost faith and drug addiction.

His most prolific work to date is "Year Zero," a concept album taking place 15 years in the future, where a citizen in the dystopic nightmare finds solace in various heartwarming and destructive human characteristics. Reznor said rap drum beats from classic hip hop artists inspired his compositions on this album, a new direction for Reznor and mainstream rock (quite possibly a new form of "rap rock," or more appropriately titled "rock rap").
