ass-pulled number (APN)

An price, quantity or amount that an individual uses or includes in a report or price quote, with little or no thought involved beforehand. Derived from the older proverb, "pulling a <something> out of your ass". More commonly used as an abbreviation.

Engineer #1: "Hey, we need a price quickly on the gazebo to finish the estimate, give me an ass-pulled number (APN)! "
Engineer #2: "Yeah, use $20,000..."

pulling git's ass

The sad fuckery when it comes to pulling a newer version of a project.
The person pulling would have to face many challenges, like merge conflicts and other weird shit
