The real Uppity Negroes are Black people who serve in official or unofficial leadership roles that supposedly serve the Black community or cast themselves as Black leaders, yet act like they are better than other Black persons who they perceive lie beneath their personal elite status.
Uppity Negroes, for example, are NAACP officials, or other advocates for the Black Community who thumb their noses up in an uppity manner or fail to speak to "common" Black persons because they erroneously think that those persons somehow fall beneath their elite status.
A word used for a girl (particularly a b-list celebrity) who behaves like a diva, thinks she is God's gift to the world and wishes she was on posters in every boy's bedroom.

A uppity Black is a colored boy a negro or a person of color who think they are better than other blacks or colored boys. Uppity black people think they poopn don't stink that they better than other black folk. A uppity black complains and protests anything that doesn't go they way.

Signs of uppity crackered-ness usually include the inability to dance and the insisted removal of B.E.T from their local cable provider. Often find themselves in trouble when referring to members of the Black community as "boy" or "silly negroe".
