1) n. Someone who simply looks downright cheeky (see cheeky).
2) n. Someone who is very manipulative, clever, and self-centered.
This word is usually used in a joking manner rather than with a serious tone.
Can be used as a playful insult against someone who has wronged you but did no real harm. In most places it is ironically considered less offensive than using the word 'bastard' alone.
Example for definition 1:
Jackie Chan.
Although he is not necessarily manipulative and clever (most of his movies focus on his embarrassment and lack of understanding American culture) he can still be considered a cheeky bastard due to his unique facial expressions and his ongoing awkward encounters with attractive women where Chris Tucker or Owen Wilson are usually very closeby.
Jackie Chan's cheekiness is a clear result of him trying to be a quick, sly undercover cop in action-based comedies based upon stopping crimes in foreign countries (usually committed by evil greedy people who are also by definition ... cheeky).

A derogatory reference to communism, specifically to the Cold War and the (former) Soviet Union. For decades, communism was the ultimate and de-facto enemy of the United States and allies Active wars, coups, assassinations, espionage, and many other things, were fought/ordered/carried out over the perceived/real worldwide struggle between democracy and communism in the post World War 2 era (1945-1990's). The Vietnam War, Korean War, and Cuban Missile Crisis being the most notable for obvious reasons.
*This definition is especially important for those who may have no idea/not-sure why other generations in the US have such a strong anti-communism / anti-communist bias, and because recent history coverage in K-12 is poorly and/or quickly covered in US for a number of reasons.

A slang Irish term used to describe a friend/family member in jest after they have delivered a sex joke or made sexual comments about a member of the public. This is also jokingly used if a friend/family member is seen flashing his genitals (namely their cock, penis, dick etc) toward others.
The word is also used as an insult, in places such as a GAA or soccer fixture, a pub/bar or in a public place such as a street or park. It describes someone who may be acting like a wanker, a prick, a twat or sometimes a right pain in the arse.
“Pull your trousers up Paudí, ya dirty bastard!”
“That referee has given us fuck-all, the dirty bastard!”
