sci-fi-bi

Sci-fi-bi is the act of liking both Star Trek and Star Wars. Both of which are heavily disputed amongst the opposing fans. Someone who is sci-fi-bi does not participate in discussions asking "can Vader crush the entire borg race with his mind?" or "could Captain Kirk kick Luke Skywalker's ass?" Instead, a sci-fi-bi knows that both are of differing worlds and therefore are not able to be compared in any way.

"Which is cooler, Star Trek or Star Wars?"
"I like both...I'm sci-fi-bi."
"Weirdo..."

Wi-Fi Gypsy

A person who travels around using public Wi-Fi in many a cafe, restaurant or wherever the wind may blow. They are known to code your fortune in C# if you cross their palm with bandwidth.

Most wi-fi gypsies are known to use OSX on a MacBook or Windows on a PC laptop. Only the most dedicated wi-fi gypsies use Linux, having downloaded the entire operating system in a public place.

A recent case study detailing the day to day habits of the Wi-Fi Gypsy lifestyle shows that a dirty Father Christmas man upgraded from Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon to Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala using the Linux port of uTorrent whilst sitting in The Pilgrims Progress in Bedford.

During this time, he had ordered the beer and burger meal deal, however expressed mild disappointment to learn that real ales were in fact not part of said deal. This mild disappointment was soon counter balanced upon learning that his download speed was 400kbps. โ€œHo ho hoโ€.

Sci-Fi Channel

Once a television network which aired numerous science fiction series whose diversity has boiled away to a monotonous repetition of "StarGate" and its spin-offs lasting for about 40% of the day. Any airing period left of the day is 30% Battlestar Galactica, 10% Eureka, and the remaining 20% devoted to advertisement, which always seems to cut in whenever the sponsors feel like whoring for attention.

Sci-Fi Channel hasn't been the same since it stopped airing Knight Rider, but I'm sure it will find a diverse audience by airing fake wrestling (ECW, which I'm entirely sure has gallons of science fiction potential). Ironically, despite the number of consecutive airings of SG-1, they haven't considered renaming the entire network to "Stargate Channel" or even decided to make every day a Stargate marathon.

Fee fi fo

Fee fi fo fum are nonsense syllables which appear in an old-time fairy tale called "Jack and the Beanstalk." In the story the scary giant says it.
And it's the name of a song by The Cranberries.

Fee fi fo fum,
I smell the blood of an Englishman:
Be he alive, or be he dead,
I'll grind his bones to make my bread!
