By God’s Bones

Phrase - one of the original curses listed in the Bible. Saying this phrase was viewed as an actual curse: when arguing with another, they would invoke an insult, followed by the phrase “by gods bones” to literally invoke the almighty into following through on your words. As people had more of a solid belief in god back in the day, this was a very, very, VERY serious thing to say to someone, and as such, is one of the original “curse words” listed in the Bible. Saying “by gods bones” was a good way to end up dead, or imprisoned for a long time.

“I’ll make you pick up your teeth with two broken arms, by God’s bones!”
“By God’s bones you better not be lying to me little one.”
“May the lord striketh me down if I lie, by God’s bones I tell you the truth!”

God Complex.

Having a “God Complex” mindset basically means you think EXTREMELY highly of your self. You think your the “chosen one” and you are superior to other and everyone else is below you.

You can use the character Light Yagami from Death Note as an example. He’s an great example for the term God Complex.

When somebody gets knocked out in any manner and their hands are up in a praying-like fashion.

Mike: "Man did you see him get knocked out?"
Joe: "Yeah he had his hands up and everything!"
Kyle: "He totally got god bodied!"
