obsessive bitch who immerses themselves in a world of fantasies, sometimes obnoxious. Spends all their time on social media platforms and is usually hated by people who don't understand them. Fangirls usually have ships that they obsessively fangirl over. They can be very annoying.
People who stress about movie and TV show characters' problems instead of their own.

Fangirls, on the internet, are people who are obsessed with or in love with a fictional character. Most are bad but some are good. (They'll often attack you if you like the same character....) Don't attack the good ones. Duh.
Person: Heard of Scootaloo Loves Sans?
Person 2: Yeah, they're a sans fangirl, but they're really nice!
A "fangirl" is anyone (guys and girls alike) who is extremely passionate about a particular topic (books, TV shows, movies, actors, sports)
That guy, over there, is fangirling over Star Wars right now.
A girl that has an extreme interest in something; most often used for girls that love a particular celebrity. There are multiple kinds of fangirls, such as music fangirls, actor/actress fangirls, and anime/manga fangirls. There are also sections within those, but I will not go too in depth.
Some fangirls may get offended when associated with other fangirls. For example, if an anime/manga fangirl sees a post on something, such as tumblr, that is titled as "Fangirl Questions" and promptly reads it, only to find that it is aimed towards music fangirls, she may get very angry and begin to type something extremely angry at the person whom posted it.
"She is a fangirl."
