A Digital Brand Network (DBN) is the (measurable) presence of a brand online and is comprised of technology (functionality) and people (user behavior).
A DBN includes platforms, applications, content, IP addresses and URL's.
The DBN is a theory stating that brands are evolving. Beyond the current concept, where brands are experiential platforms that connect people, the next evolutionary stage will see brands as networks comprised of people.
Our online group is hiring an interactive marketing consultant to help manage our digital brand network.
Ubiquitous 1990's late night TV infomercial phenomenon. PSN was a 1 900 number psychic service that charged astronomical per minute charges. Instead of merely hiring an actor to pose as a psychic and hawk services directly to a camera (see Miss Cleo), PSN employed past their prime entertainment personalities to "host" a casual roundtable discussion that persistently extolled the proficiency of the network psychics. PSN also used phone testimonials from shills to enhance a not so subtle peer pressure to dial the phone.
PSN's infomercial model proved very successful. Like Home Shopping Network and QVC, the creation of an artificial peer group to sell almost anything attracted many people with few social outlets.
Back in 1993, Melvyn's mom racked up $10,000 in phone bills from watching Psychic Friends Network late at night. After the auto accident, she had nothing to do but lie in her full body cast and endlessly call for her horoscope.

You will not have heard ALL ABOUT THE "St Thomas Network" so you will not understand why their promises of good jobs out of college are completely false. I am not sullying a Catholic institution for its Catholicism--I am a seminarian at a different school in fact--I am drawing under-given attention to a serious lie St Thomas peddles to admitted and high school students about career prospects out of college. I am in line with the college revelution, wherein we can totally see 80% of our college tuition was frittered away on defining basic marketing vocabulary. I encourage you to seriously think again; DO NOT delete this post as it echoes the academic agony of thousands of st Thomas graduates who were told fame and fortune awaited them outside St Thomas' borders but wound up stocking shelves intead.
