Nice Head

Function: Exclamation or statement
Etymology: Canadian, particular to the greater Hamilton (the Hammer) region (Burlington, Stoney Creek, Burlington)

1. An exclamation of disbelief.
2. Means that you don't believe something to such a degree that you make an indirect reference to someone's lack of intelligence or ugly head

When your housemate accuses you of eating all of his peanut butter when you didn't, you exclaim, 'Nice Head!'

Midwest Nice

A concept that is not well understood in coastal areas of the United States or frankly anywhere next to an ocean. It is a manner of non-confrontationally addressing a situation that is somehow annoying in a passive-aggressive manner that is subtle enough to be considered friendly.

For example, if someone says "You're fine" it almost certainly means you're doing something to annoy them. "Let me sneak past you" means you're someone's way." "I can wait" means you need to hurry up. "You sure that's a good idea?" means it is not a good idea, and you look stupid.

I dropped some Midwest Nice on this guy from Maryland. He error coded 404 because he was unsure if I was being nice or just wanted him to make a damn decision already.

Nice Curves

nice pasta

An abbreviated form of the phrase "that's a nice pasta" used to denote something generally pleasing. Similar in usage to "cool beans."

A phrase used after someone completely bashes another person and then feels bad about it.

Beth: "Have you met the new girl yet?"

Liz: "Yeah, she has horrible skin, looks like a cow, and walks like a duck...But she's nice..."
