Hatred - The side effect can be the most substantial. Ever since DIAB was created, the divorce rate has been increasing dramatically. Many scientists say that they have a direct correlation, but that is debatable. It is believed that anyone who takes the medicine experiences the "HULK" Effect. Extreme strength and irritability are often felt and this causes many domestic disputes which eventually lead to neighborhood brawls of epic proportions. (On a side note, DIAB has also caused some good in the world. A mother actually lifted a car while using DIAB to save her son's life. It was not reported, however, how she beat him later for not putting the toilet seat down after his use. DIAB is a harsh mistress.)
Warnings:
Do not use anything other than stainless steel to handle Death in a Bottle. Use of any other type of material may cause spontaneous combustion upon the liquid's contact. Do not allow the ooze-like toxic substance to crawl back into it's nest (aka container) You poured it out for a reason and it damn well better behave properly! DO NOT ALLOW IT TO TOUCH YOUR TONGUE! If for any reason it does come in contact with this muscle, immediately cut it off. If you do not, it will cause a lifetime of agony that no therapist can cure. Trust me, I am now dead on the inside.

An arbitrary way of 'scoring' your life and determining whether you are enjoying a good time or in a 'trough.'
Nominally, death may correspond to -10 where 0 or below indicates psychological distress. A score below -10 is possible if you are so suicidal you havent got the energy to go through with the act. (DONT DO IT CALL THE SAMARITANS!)
A score of 25 indicates sex, with 35 mindblowingly good sex.

Holy Wood was a concept album released by Marilyn Manson on 2000 after the Columbine High School massacre and serves as their rebuttal at the accusations leveled at them. Their frontman has described it as "a declaration of war".
The record made numerous allegories to pop culture history to show how everyone had a participating role in Columbine: From Abraham Zapruder to the JFK Assassination, from the Beatles' White Album to the Charles Manson murders and from the Crucifixion to the Dead Rock Star celebrity worship phenomenon, Manson left no stone unturned to give america a righteous ass-kicking.
Notable themes:
1.Guns, God and Government - rightwing America's main obsession that, arguably, fucked Klebold and Harris up more than any 'rock' or 'metal' album.
2.Celebritarianism - a word coined by Manson to describe a devotion to celebrity and celebrity culture. In the album it is a religion that canonizes dead celebrities into saints in the same way the crucifixion canonized Jesus Christ into a superstar messiah and celebrity. In effect, the crucifixion is the root cause of shit like reality TV, Jersey Shore, TMZ and Harris and Klebold's desire to become famous by murdering people.
Holy Wood was never a commercial success and received mixed reviews from music journalists who said the band's artistic pretensions overshadowed the powerful lyrical indictment contained in it. Despite this, many people view it as the band's finest hour.
Kerrang Magazine: ...There has still not been as eloquent and savage a musical attack on the media and mainstream culture as Manson achieved with Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death).
Me:If you thought what Manson said about Columbine in Michael Moore's documentary was incisive, you should see how Holy Wood throws his detractors hypocrisies right back into their faces.

Fear - Another common side-effect is fear itself. There has been many cases of fear and panic spreading throughout an area just from the mere mention of DIAB. One unofficial record of DIAB's effect is "The War of the Worlds" radio broadcast. If you tuned in to the Columbia Broadcasting System on October 30, 1938 Just after the opening theme of Piano Concerto No. 1, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, the microphone flips on about 3 seconds too early and catches Orson Welles gagging and exclaiming his hatred of Tussionex. "Damn Death in a Bottle!" And he proceeds to vomit on the studio floor. A few minutes later, they continued on with the show. The microphones shut off immediately after he uttered the phrase, but it was too late. Panic ensued with many people fleeing the New York Area from Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) associated with DIAB.
