binary transgender

The term refers to transgender individuals whose gender identity is either male or female, aligning with the traditional gender binary. This may mean they identify as the opposite gender to the one they were assigned at birth.

For example, a binary transgender woman is someone assigned male at birth but identifies and lives as a female, and a binary transgender man is someone assigned female at birth but identifies and lives as a male

Binary is usually called the Base-2 System. Binary consists of only 0s and 1s, meaning that there are only 2 digits, 0 and 1.
Binary is usually used in computers, as a replacement for base-16, or hexadecimal.
