The "u" word

The "u" word is a roughly 9-letter long word starting with the letter "u." The "u" word is the only singular word that is illegal to say on private property in the United States. It surpasses all swears and slurs in sheer foulness. It is not allowed on this website, nor can we even spell it out. We cannot tell you what it means as that information is also not allowed on this website. This word is not even allowed on the most egregious of "free-speech" web pages. This is partially because all web hosting services are required to automatically stop hosting webpages if this word is found on them.

To find out the spelling of the word and what it means (in the United States), you must go to a public library. Private libraries are not allowed to contain this information. Not all public libraries contain a dictionary with the word in it. You must find a dictionary set that is exclusively printed for public/state-backed libraries. Under the letter u, you may find the word. Good luck!

Trivia:
1. The Library of Congress refuses to contain a dictionary with the word in it.

2. Historically, the "u" word has always been offensive, not having any major root words.

3. According to urban legend, one of the astronauts on the Apollo 11 mission said the "u" word during the mission. This is unlikely to be true as members were monitored and recorded heavily throughout their entire mission.

Charlie was cancelled for accidentally saying the "u" word.

" " (U+3164)

. Blank, that is it .

" " (U+3164) is a blank filler code that is invisible, and can be used in places the space key can't. most places where you can name yourself you can't use just spaces, so this works for an invisible name or almost any other reason. if you are not able to use it in a place, put periods or another symbol on each side of the ' ' and it will usually work.

Refers to common situations when poor and malnourished students scavenge for food among other, luckier in life fiends.

U-4

(ECONOMICS) Total unemployed plus discouraged workers, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus discouraged workers.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics regularly publishes six estimates of unemployment. The others are U-1, U-2, U-3, U-5, and U-6. Eurostat publishes one monthly estimate of unemployment for the European Union, which is approximately midway between U-3 and U-4.

The unemployment statistics for the USA are collected through a monthly Current Population Survey (CPS) (also known as the household survey) and an establishment survey.

U-4 includes all individuals that are unemployed as well as people known as discouraged workers. These people are then reported as a percentage of the combined civilian labor force and discouraged workers. Discouraged workers are defined as unemployed workers who have searched for employment within the last 12 months that have cited an economic reason for no longer looking for work. These reasons could range from “There just aren’t any job openings in my area.” to “I keep getting turned down for interviews, so why bother?”
