A person who is addicted to using internet relay chat.
People who, for the most part, drink a lot and do illicit drugs. Many irc addicts drink enough to kill a mule, while typing for as many as 20 straight hours, into ircchat rooms.
Irc addiction is just a state of mind. Some snap out of it after a few months and others just can't shake it. It's kinda like crack for smart people.

Also known as a Baby Name Addict. Someone who is obsessed with looking up names, seeing what their definitions are, making lists to name possible future children, and so forth. This person tends to have a bookshelf full of Baby Name Books.
Marie was a name addict to the point where she ended up changing her name legally because she found a name she liked better.

when you are really, deeply in love with someone that you start "seeing them" everywhere when they're not actually there. The need and want for someone who's your crush and you're horny for them.
Tyler "saw" Ali at Target and thought that he touched her although he wasn't actually there. She also thought that she saw him in the shower and on a tv commercial. Her friend knew she had a love addiction with Ali, though she denies it.

People who are too attached to their phones; most people who are addicted to phones are nomophobic, or the phobia of losing their phones; in other words, stupid, dumb, annoying, ignorant people who never listen to what you say and missing out on life and the beauty of nature

A: Hi...
B: Huh? What was that? *looking at their phone again*
C: Hey, A!
A: Oh, hi! B is a phone addict.
C: It's annoying. They're missing out on so many things. It makes me feel like they're not my friend anymore. :'(

A Hashtag Addict, or a Hashaddict (Noun), is someone who can't #stop putting #hastags on a post on social sites such as, #Twitter or #Instagram. They do this either to gain fame and attention on a specific post, or they do it because someone they respect does it for fame and attention

To wake up in the morning and need to listen to music, and throughout the day and night, but its the kind of addiction you really enjoy having because there no negative side
I have to have music on at work, but it sure is a pleasant addiction
