win-lose bargaining

The result of a possible win-win scenario in which the clear beneficiary of the win-win scenario fails to keep their end of the bargain, resulting later into a win-lose scenario.

Commonly found with people who fail to transition a informal verbal agreement to a formal written agreement, backstabbers, double-cross someone, or dealing with someone with a "do nothin', get everythin'" mentality.

1.) When Paul failed to wash the dishes all week after his father let him go to a party the previous week, his father realized that he was a victim of win-lose bargaining.

2.) Mike had been involved with some win-lose bargaining when he and Ken agreed to split the bill only for Ken to leave without notice, leaving Mike to pay for the large meal.

3.) When someone agrees to give another head after they themselves have been given head, but then leaves, the giver of head is on the losing side of the win-lose bargaining.

Or She'll Lose

No. She's already lost. You can bitch about how you're a majoritarian party all you want, this isn't a democracy. That just isn't how the country works. She was the least popular democratic candidate during an election season where the only reason your candidate was able to win is NO LONGER AN OPTION. The pandemic is over. If you can't get feet into the ballot boxes you cannot win. No mail in ballots. No extend deadlines. They don't care that he's a felon. Sexist, racist, homophobe doesn't work. And your base is conditioning votes based on whether or not YOU ASSHOLES are are going to agree to help someone other than yourselves. I wouldn't hold my breath.

Hym "There is no 'or she'll lose.' She's lost. And when she loses you lose the supreme court. Which means you're never getting those abortion rights back. Not in your lifetime at least. The Republicans can run on 'trans bad' and 'the homos are indoctrinating your kid' and 'Inflation too expensive' and coast. Even the generic one has changed his tune on Trump. Has she come out with a platform yet? I mean, damn."

Losing On Yourself

To lose one's mind/marbles. Refers to when an individual forgets obvious things or makes easy mistakes, similarly to the symptoms of going senile.

As defined by Peter Smith.

'You're losing on yourself because you put your shoes in the fridge!'

Amy is losing on herself because she confused a person with a cat.
