A phrase often used when you've done something wrong or something that can land you in deep trouble.

Bob- Nahh. I live by the Don't ask, Don't tell rule!

Example 2-
Guy 1: What's your dad gonna do once he finds out you totally flunked the test?

Guy 2: Don't ask, Don't tell.

I didn't ask you

A way for a jackass to have a catchphrase so he can feel smarter than he actually is.

Jackass: Hey, how do you spell Britain?
Friend: I don't remember actually.
Guy: It's spelled B-r-i-t-a-i-n.
Jackass: I didn't ask you.

Don't Ask, Just Smell

A phrase to define the new policy of not "outing" someone by asking, "Did you just fart?" Not asking someone or a roomful of people, who farted is politically correct. The person who ripped it, dealt it, or pushed it, may have a medical issue the casuses he/she to expell rancid gas at semi-regular intervals. Moreover the guilty party may be very shy and "outing" them might cause mental trauma that would far exceed the mental and physical anguish of "just smelling".

I was at a meeting the other day when Bob let out an SBDF. I thought I was going to die. I was just about to "out" him on it, but then I thought, "What about Bob's feelings?". He's been having a rough time at home and with his Irratable Bowel Syndrome, I thought it prudent to practice "Don't Ask, Just Smell".

Are you asking me out?

Something random that you say in response to any statement or question thrown at you by another, in an attempt to embarrass that person.

This should be said in a voice loud enough to be heard by others, in order to get the full effect.

Very similar to the famous Billy Madison line "No, I won't make out with you!"

Guy: Hey, can I borrow a piece of paper?
Girl: Are you asking me out?

I didnt ask

To say the phrase "i didnt ask" is used when someone (usually in a group chat) says a statement like "tomorrow is my birthday" and then the other person says i didnt ask then crushing all hopes of the other person and making them feel terrible because they just got roasted like chicken, got boxed like a fish and then relizing the terrible truth that they are dog water and have no p.r nor earnings.

Person A: my dad died last week
Person B: I didnt ask
Person C (Person B's friends): what are you doing you are lost, your so free free er than air. your headset is so dog you literally got it from the dollar store. calm down you are not cracked you are not justin you litteral wannabe.

oh mary, don't ask!

Homosexual subculture expression where one over the edge gay man indicates that the news or incident that has happened to him isjust too terrible to explain (but he's going to tell you anyway); Mary ... another gay man

QUESTION: So where is the autographed program from the Barbra Streisand concert?
REPLY: Oh Mary, don't ask! After I rode the train for two fucking hours out to Port Jefferson, that fucking tight assed bitch wouldn't sell it to me.
