A woman who has a good body and looks attractive from a distance but, upon closer inspection is rather ugly.

That guy you you could have had it all with but something, whether it was distance or just bad timing, drove you apart and now your left wondering, "what if?"
Tonight's one of those nights I think of Charlie and listen to Boston by Augustana on repeat...alas he was the one that got away.

A firearm, usually a handgun or revolver, which is kept and intended to be fired once or only during one incident, usually for illegal purposes, and then discarded so as to remove suspicion from the weapon's user. Serial numbers may be filed off and the gun is usually unregistered and illegal to even own, and care is always taken to not leave prints on the gun so that it can't be traced back to the owner that way should it ever be discovered. Usually kept somewhere hidden and safe as a "Plan B" should the owner ever need to have access to a gun that can't be traced back to them.
Person A: dude, what are you going to do with that?
Person B: I just discovered my wife was cheating on me with my boss. I need this throw away gun I have so I can kill them for it. That way no one can trace the gun back to me and there won't be any witnesses.
Person A: but, dude, I'm a wit...oh sh-

The false concept purported by Mike Huckabee and the American Religious Right that claims that somehow allowing prayer in public schools will some how magically reduce gun violence in schools.
The Religious Right tried to Pray the Gun Away, but sadly gun violence at school continued unabated .

The person that you could've and should've ended up with but didn't, usually because of a series of poor choices on your end. You pine over them and wonder what could've been all the while stalking them through mutual friends and on facebook, becoming extremely jealous over anyone that looks twice at them. You try to express your regret but they usually won't believe you unless you do some sort of grand gesture. The one that got away is someone that you will forever regret. In other words Trevor Sharod White.
I should've treated Roddy better, he is definitely the one that got away!
